Georgia window tint law

Georgia sets how dark and reflective your tint can be, measured as VLT (the percent of light a window lets through). Here is the general guidance for passenger vehicles. We keep every install within the law and walk you through the legal shade for each window.

Front side windowsMust allow more than 32 percent of light in.
Back side windowsMust allow more than 32 percent of light in.

ReflectionTint must not be more than 20 percent reflective.

Medical exemptions may allow darker tint with the proper documentation.

SUVs and vans can follow different rules for the rear windows. Ask us about your vehicle.
